Ever wanted to buy a book from amazon, or a item from eBay, or wanted to see the lowest price quoted from a seller and always annoyed to check that everytime manually? Don’t worry Developers heard you and they just automated that process for you. Check4Change aka C4C is a add-on in Mozilla which serves your purpose just fine enough.
How does it work?
Say that you want to buy a Mobile Handset and trying to find out the lowest deal possible. It will be just too cumbersome to manually check for it everytime, right?
Just select the Text which you intend to look for everytime you log in as in here the Price of Mobile then right click on it and set a time to in Check4Change for it to monitor automatically. Now the page will automatically check if the text selected by you gets changed and if yes, a pop-up shows up in that Tab and you know it. Simple right ? Well that is what developer do for you; make it easier, isn’t it?
What are the shortcomings ?
Well it only works for open Tabs. So you can’t search for updates if you don’t have that tab opened in your log.
Who developed it?
Ronen Zilberman a Student from Israel who is enthusiastic about freeware development and believes that maximum people should have access to best software and best way to do it is distribute it for free.
