Every felt annoyed while surfing a page with loads of images like image search in Google and had to manually select each and every image to save it to your PC. Well freeware developers are again at your rescue and have something in store for this also. DownThemall (Read as Down-them-all and not as Down-the-mall)is a great add-on which allows you to download all the pics , videos, meta-data, HTML Tags, and much more from the web page.
How does it work?
It works on simple click and go theory. You Navigate a page and want to download something from there, Just right click and click for a option “DownThemAll!..” in the drop down list. Then selectively choose the things you want to download from that page. The GUI of the add-on also allows you to filters images, videos, HTML tags and also by means of extension too.It doesn’t get simpler then this.
What are the shortcomings ?
It does allow you to select multiple images but you can’t download the images at its Native resolution for all of them at once. You need to manually select each mage and download it at its Native resolution
Who made it?
Nils Maier a German Computer science student who is currently in pursuing Masters in science and whose passion is to build freeware apps and extension.
